SANTA BÍBLIA DI NELSON

Translation of the oldest Hebrew (such as the Masoretic Text) and Aramaic texts, based on the Greek Textus Receptus, in comparison with the various versions cited by the Patristic Sources of the 3rd and 4th centuries, the Latin Vulgate text, the Septuagint, the King James Version, the Reina Valera text of 1909, observing the best parts of the Greek texts of Erasmus (1516-1522), Stephanus (1550), Beza (1565), Elzevir (1624-1678), and checked against more than 115 modern versions. This work was begun in 1980 and completed in 2013 and is continuously updated in light of the most recent discoveries of the best that the Sacred Text has to offer, to better serve ministers of the Portuguese language.
