Retro Elves-Man game GAME

Core Gameplay: The game's objective is very simple: collect all the dots in the maze without being caught by the ghost.

Controls: Players control a yellow "Elves-Man," who can only move up, down, left, and right within the maze's passages.

Level Completion Condition: Collect all the dots and power pellets on the map to advance to the next level.

Map Mechanism (Left and Right Tunnels): There is an interconnected tunnel on each side of the map. Elves-Man's speed does not decrease when passing through the tunnels, but the ghost's speed is significantly reduced when passing through them. This is the key escape route to shake off the ghost.

Key Items and Status Transitions: There are 244 beans on the map (240 small beans and 4 large power beans). Their functions are as follows:
* Small Beans (Dots): 10 points for each one eaten.
* Power Pellets: Large, blinking beans located in the four corners of the map. 50 points for each one eaten.
* Frightened Mode: When a power bean is eaten, the background music changes, all ghosts on the field instantly turn dark blue, their movement speed slows down, and they begin to "randomly flee."

At this time, the sprite can eat the ghosts! As the levels progress, the duration of this mode becomes shorter and shorter. After level 21, ghosts won't even turn blue after eating a power bean (they will only instantly change their movement direction), making it extremely difficult.

Core Mechanics: The "Personality" AI of the Four Ghosts
* Ghost Name (Color)* *Official Nickname* *Behavioral Logic (Personality)*
* Blinky* * Shadow* The most aggressive pursuer. Its target is always the sprite's current location. When the remaining beans in the maze decrease, it enters "Cruise Elroy" mode, moving faster than the sprite.

Pinky (Speedy): A master of ambush. Its target is usually the fourth square in front of the sprite's direction of movement. It attempts to outflank and block your path.

Inky (Bashful): The most unpredictable. Its movement logic depends on a vector calculated from the positions of the pinky and the sprite. Sometimes it will outflank you, sometimes it will suddenly turn and leave.

Clyde (Pokey): Elusive. When it is far enough away from the sprite (more than 8 squares), it will approach you like the pinky; but as soon as it gets close to the sprite, it will "frighten itself" and turn to head towards its lair in the lower left corner of the map.

Ghosts have two timed modes:

In the game, ghosts periodically switch between **"Chase Mode" and "Scatter Mode (returning to the four corners of the map)"**. The "Scatter Mode," where ghosts suddenly turn back to a corner, provides a good opportunity for players to catch their breath and adjust their route.

Scoring Rules: To achieve a high score, you must utilize the "consecutive ghost-eating" doubling mechanism:
Eating a small bean: 10 points/bean
Eating an energy bean: 50 points/bean
Consecutively eating ghosts within the duration of a single energy bean:
Eating the 1st ghost: 200 points
Eating the 2nd ghost: 400 points
Eating the 3rd ghost: 800 points
Eating the 4th ghost: 1600 points (If you eat all 4 ghosts each time, the score will skyrocket).

Eaten ghosts: will turn into a pair of eyes, quickly float back to the central base to revive, and revert to their original color and chase mode.

Bonus life: Usually, when you reach 10,000 points, the game will give you a free Elves-Man (one life).
