Icura APP

Icura's app guides you so you get the most out of your home training. The app registers your training and activity.

To activate and use the Icura app, you need to use the Icura sensor and activation code that you have been given by your health professional. Have both ready and follow the instructions on your phone or tablet when you open the app for the first time.

The app will then show your individual activity and home training programme.

The Icura app has the following modules:
– Sit-to-stand test: With the sit-to-stand functional test, you can continuously test how many times in 30 seconds you can stand up and sit down from a chair. The test gives you a picture of your current physical level.
– Assess your activities: Here you can assess selected activities that you find difficult. You can use the function to see how much you improve during the course.
– Physical activity: With the Icura sensor in your pocket, your activity will be registered throughout the day. This can be, for example, movement, steps, stair climbing, and cycling. You can continuously see your development. Alternatively, you can also use your phone or smartwatch to register activity via Health Connect. See more below.
– Exercises: Here you will find your training programme with exercises for your level and needs. Each exercise begins with a video instruction that you should follow so that your exercises are performed correctly.
– Daily activities: Here you can give feedback on everyday activities that you would like to get better at. The function helps you assess your experience and potentially indicate pain or comment on the experience.

Activity data from Health Connect
Physical activity is a central part of your training/rehabilitation. As an alternative to using the Icura sensor, you can use your own phone or smartwatch to register physical activity. For this purpose, Icura uses the following activity data from Health Connect:
– Steps: Step count is a way for both you and your health professional to follow the development of your training. At the same time, walking is an important part of training in itself.
– Movement (active calories): Active calories provide good insight into your general activity level for both you and your health professional.
– Cycling: Cycling is a good way to get your heart rate up whilst training your balance.
– Stair climbing: Training on stairs strengthens the muscles in your legs whilst strengthening your balance.
The health professional who creates your training programme assesses which of the above activities are clinically relevant for your specific training course. The activities are always accompanied by an individual goal set by your health professional.
