Fonit APP
For those of us who speak Spanish, pronouncing in Italian seems simple, but we must take into account the difference in the representation of sounds in one language and another. Additionally, some Italian sounds are new or require special attention for Spanish speakers.
In Apprendit Fonetica our mascot, a Roman wolf named Tito, will accompany you to recognize the letters of the Italian alphabet and pronounce his name. Then, you will be invited to recognize the important sounds of Italian for those who speak Spanish, based on a board with letters. The practice letters are buttons that are marked white.
In each case, you will recognize the sound associated with a word and an image. You can listen to each word as many times as you want. When you finish, we invite you to do an association challenge between sound and words. Then, through another challenge you can practice writing the sounds. At the end of each challenge, Tito will tell you how well you did and give you your score.
The sequence ends with pronunciation practice: read the word and record yourself pressing the microphone. Then compare how he pronounces Tito and how you do it. Remember to have your microphone activated in the application. Some sequences do not present this option because there are sounds where, at first, only their recognition by Spanish speakers is more important.
If you interrupt your progress in practicing the sounds of one letter, because you are more interested in practicing another, you can do it. The letter whose sequence you have not completed will be marked with orange. When you complete the sequence associated with a letter, it will be marked green. There is something important: if you are doing a challenge and leave it unfinished, you will lose your progress.
