Voyage Santé+ is the Central African Republic Ministry of Health's official digital platform for epidemic health screening at international Points of Entry, starting at Bangui M'Poko International Airport.
HOW IT WORKS
Travellers scan a QR code at the checkpoint and complete their health screening directly on WhatsApp — no app download required. Once a health officer records your temperature, your Traveller Health Pass is delivered instantly to your phone.
SELF-SCREENING (FLOW 1 — WhatsApp)
Answer 9 symptom questions and 2 exposure questions in under 3 minutes.
Upload a photo of your passport bio-page for instant identity verification.
Receive your Green Pass or be referred for further assessment — all on WhatsApp.
ASSISTED SCREENING (FLOW 2 — Health Officer)
For travellers without a smartphone or who need assistance.
A health officer completes the screening on your behalf using the Converse app.

YOUR TRAVELLER HEALTH PASS
Green Pass: cleared for travel — valid for 6 days, verifiable by QR code at any checkpoint.
Red Alert: referred for clinical assessment by a health officer.

Works offline — data syncs automatically when connectivity is restored.

SECURITY & PRIVACY
Passport images are deleted immediately after identity extraction — never stored.
Passport numbers are hashed — plain text is never retained.
All data encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256).
