Twitchly Reaction GAME
Most "reflex tests" give you one lucky number and move on. Twitchly Reaction is built for people who want to actually improve. Every tap feeds a live telemetry panel, every run is grouped into a 10-Trial Challenge, and every saved session is charted so you can watch your reflexes get faster over days and weeks. It even catches you cheating: jump the gun and tap before the green signal, and the screen flashes red with "TOO FAST!" — a real false start, counted separately so it can't pad your average.
KEY FEATURES
• The hero tap loop — arm a trial, hold through the random wait, then react the instant the screen turns green and shows "TAP NOW!"
• Millisecond-precise timing computed from the go-signal to your tap, shown as a huge "214 ms" result
• False-start detection — tapping during the hold triggers a red flash and logs a "too fast", kept out of your real times
• Live session telemetry: average (mean), median, best (min), worst (max), false starts, and TRIAL x/10 progress
• Two modes — a structured 10-Trial Challenge or open-ended Continuous Practice
• Three difficulty windows that randomize the hold: Easy 3-4s, Medium 2-5s, Hard 1-5s
• Go-signal cues you control: a synthesized 800 Hz beep and a double-tick haptic pulse, each toggleable
• Analytics Engine with all-time best and worst single responses, a progression trend line chart, and recent run logs
• Training Log history — your last 10 saved sessions with avg, best/worst/median peaks, trials and too-fasts, deletable one by one
• Device latency calibration that measures system + reaction overhead and estimates hardware lag (great for spotting Bluetooth audio delay of 150-300 ms)
• Light and dark themes, plus a countdown-timer or minimalist hold display
HOW IT WORKS
Tap the pad to start. During "Hold..." you wait — the delay is random every time, so you can't memorize it. When the pad turns green, react. Finish a trial and your stats update instantly; finish all ten and save the run with one tap. Head to Analytics to see your trend line bend downward as you get quicker, or open Settings to run a latency calibration and dial in your audio and haptics.
PERFECT FOR
• Gamers chasing faster reflexes for FPS, fighting, and rhythm games
• Athletes and sprinters drilling reaction off a start signal
• Anyone who wants a repeatable, honest measure of their reaction speed
• Beating your own personal best, one millisecond at a time
