TV 2 Vejr

TV 2 Vejr shows you a clear overview of today's weather in your city. How hot will it be, will the UV radiation be high, and when will the snow come again? TV 2 Vejr gives you the answer.

Under 'Radar & Map' you can see how the precipitation is moving right now where you are. What will the weather be like today? What will the highest and lowest temperature be? Will there be precipitation and will it be as rain, snow or sleet?

We show you the weather forecast for where you are, but you can of course choose another city to see your city weather either in Denmark or in the rest of the world. Type the name of the city in the search field or navigate via the map.

With TV 2 Weather you can see:

- Today's weather / city weather
- Temperature (both the actual temperature and how the temperature feels, including the chill factor)
- Bathing water temperature / water temperature (only in summer)
- Precipitation (rain, showers, snow or sleet)
- Radar
- Probability of precipitation
- Wind speed and direction (and storm)
- Weather map: weather and precipitation radar
- UV index
- When will the sun rise on the day where you are
- When will the sun set on the day where you are
- Alerts

Save your own locations

Get a more accurate weather forecast by entering the address you want the weather forecast from. It could be your home, your summer house, or where the family lunch is to be held. You must be logged in to be able to save your own locations. Only you can see the locations, and you can easily delete them again.

Send us your weather photo

Once you have taken a beautiful weather photo with your phone, you can easily send it to us directly from the app. You will find the Upload function in the upper right corner. You must be logged in to be able to upload photos.

Push notifications

You can sign up for 2 categories of push notifications - Weather News and Alerts. Weather News gives you notifications with the most important weather news and with alerts you will be notified when something special happens with the weather, e.g. if there is a storm, icy roads, hail.

You can also sign up for today's weather and get a push notification about today's weather where you are. You can choose which time and which location you would like to receive the weather forecast for.

Weather data

At TV 2 Vejr, our focus is to create the best city weather in Denmark.
Under Radar & Map in the app, we have radar data from DMI, so you can see where it is raining or snowing right now.

TV 2 Weather's weather forecasts are calculated based on recognized and leading forecasts from, among others, DWD (the German weather service) and NWS (the American weather service). TV 2 Weather's forecasts are of the highest quality and are updated continuously. The forecasts may differ from, for example, DMI and YR, as the data is different.

In addition, we calculate the probability of precipitation for each hour, which is stated in %.

About TV 2

TV 2 Danmark A/S is a 100 percent state-owned limited liability company, financed through advertising and subscription revenue. TV 2 Danmark A/S has NOT received a license since June 2004. In 1986, the Danish Parliament decided to establish TV 2 to break the monopoly of DR on nationwide television news coverage. DR was to have competition, and Danes were to have freedom of choice between two public service stations. TV 2 went on the air as a TV station on October 1, 1988, and since 2011 we have had mobile apps.
