⚠️ HONEST BY DESIGN
Signal Atlas measures and maps signal — it does not (and no app can) "boost" your Wi-Fi or cellular signal. It shows you where coverage is weak so you can fix it: move your router, add an extender, or change rooms.

WHY THESE PERMISSIONS?
• Location — Android requires location permission for any app that reads Wi-Fi network info. Signal Atlas uses it only to identify nearby networks while you scan. Your location is never uploaded.
• Physical activity — counts your steps to move the "you are here" marker while you walk.
• Camera (optional) — powers precise camera-based position tracking if you switch it on. Off by default.
• Notifications — shows scan progress while mapping runs.
