In the first phase, the eight clubs face each other in a single round-robin system, and the top six advance, with the top two going directly to the semifinals. The eighth-placed team will play in the first round of the Pernambuco Championship in 2027. In case of a tie in points in the round-robin phase, the tie-breaking criteria are:

1) most wins;

2) best goal difference;

3) most goals scored;

4) fewest red cards;

5) fewest yellow cards;

6) drawing of lots.

The teams that finish between 3rd and 6th place qualify for the second phase, where they face each other in home and away matches. In case of a tie on aggregate, the spot is decided by a penalty shootout. The semi-final and final are also played in a knockout system, with two-legged matches. In case of a tie on aggregate, the spot or the title is decided by a penalty shootout.
