PittSAFE is the official safety app of the University of Pittsburgh, serving students, faculty, and staff across all Pitt campuses. Developed by the University of Pittsburgh Police Department and the Office of Public Safety & Emergency Management, PittSAFE integrates directly with Pitt's safety and security systems to provide real-time access to campus safety resources and alerts.

-Friend Walk: Share your live location with a friend via email or SMS so they can track your route and confirm you arrive safely.
-Virtual WalkHome: Allow campus security to monitor your walk in real-time.

-Tip Reporting: Report a safety or security concern directly to Pitt Police.
-I'm OK!: Send your location and a status message to a recipient of your choosing.
-Emergency Plans: Offline-accessible emergency documentation to help you prepare for on-campus disasters or emergencies.
-Safety Notifications: Receive instant alerts and instructions from Pitt safety when on-campus emergencies occur.
