Ormanya is the largest natural life park in Europe, which was established in 2010 under the responsibility of Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Department of Culture and Social Affairs, spread over an area of ​​2,000 acres and consists of 12 regions. In addition to many places to visit and see, it also includes many activities such as a children's zoo, wildlife rescue and rehabilitation center, recreation area, camping area, Ormanköy, nature school, exhibition hall, sportive angling, bird watching area, horseback riding, nature trails. contains.

There are 766 animals of 67 different species in the children's zoo area, and there are 150 animals in 5 different species in the wildlife area. With the wildlife rescue and rehabilitation center, injured, weakened and sick wild animals are helped and brought back to nature. The camping area has a capacity of 24 caravans and 100 tents and offers the basic services that visitors need.

Nature trails provide service for those who love activities such as hiking, sports and cycling, with 18 km of hiking trails and 8 km of cycling trails of varying difficulty levels. While many bird species can be watched in their natural environment in the bird watching area, the nature school offers trainings and various activities for those who want to explore nature.
