Note Recognition by Microphone APP
Sing a melody, play an instrument line, or capture a musical idea with your phone. After recording, the app analyzes the pitch, recognizes the sung or played notes, and displays them on a staff. This makes it useful for musicians, singers, students, teachers, and songwriters who want to understand, practice, or save melodies as notation.
Key features:
Note recognition from microphone recordings
Music to sheet music for melody lines
Pitch detection and frequency analysis
Notes shown on a musical staff
Treble clef and bass clef support
Playback of recognized melodies
MIDI export for further editing
Helpful for singing practice, ear training, lessons, and melody ideas
Use Note Recognition to:
Record a melody and see the detected notes
Check the pitch of your voice or instrument
Turn melody lines into readable sheet music
Save song ideas before you forget them
Practice notes, intonation, and ear training
Export recognized melodies as MIDI
Important:
This app is designed for clear monophonic melody lines, meaning one main note is played or sung at a time. The melody can be short, long, simple, or complex, as long as the recording does not contain chords or several instruments playing different notes at the same time.
Note Recognition is not intended for automatic transcription of full songs, chords, background music, band recordings, or polyphonic audio. For best results, place your phone close to the sound source and record one voice or one instrument line at a time.
