Mediaglide APP
Floating Media Control Widget lets you control music and media playback anywhere on your Android device.
The app is not a media player — instead, it acts as a universal controller for other media players that support the Android Media Session API.
It provides reliable play, pause, next, previous, and volume controls, working seamlessly with modern Android media players that properly expose their Media Session.
When no active media session is available, the app can automatically launch your last used or favorite media player and wait for it to start before sending a play command. Global media commands are also supported, improving compatibility across different players.

About the Required Permissions
To function as a reliable floating widget, the app requires a few Android permissions. Here’s what they do:
1. Display Over Other Apps
This permission allows the widget to appear on top of any app you’re using.
Without it, Android does not allow floating elements to stay visible.
2. Foreground Service & Notifications
The app needs notification permission because Android requires a visible notification when running a foreground service.
A foreground service is necessary to keep the floating widget alive; without it, Android may close the widget automatically to save power or memory.
Showing this persistent notification allows the widget to remain active and reliable on all modern Android versions.
• This notification ensures stable performance
• No tracking or screen reading — the widget displays only its own content
• On newer Android versions, you can minimize or silence the notification if you prefer
