With the Medgate App, you always have your doctor with you. The app provides simple, fast and secure access to comprehensive medical care by phone, video and chat. More than 150 Medgate doctors take the time to advise and treat you competently. Patients benefit from Medgate's more than 25 years of experience in digital health and telemedicine.

- Thanks to artificial intelligence: quick assessment of whether a teleconsultation or an in-person visit is more appropriate

- Summary of your consultation and treatment plan directly in the app
- Document storage for sick notes, e-prescriptions, referrals and prescriptions

Security
Security is a top priority for the Medgate Partner Network. The Medgate App places particular emphasis on ensuring data protection. User identity is verified through an identification process using an identity card. Medical data is not shared with health insurers. The manufacturer, distributor and operator of the app is Medgate. Medical services are provided by members of the Medgate Partner Network.

Costs
Patients with private health insurance can book a video consultation and submit the invoice (GOÄ) to their private insurer as usual.
