Glowroot Bastion

Glowroot Bastion is a landscape pixel survival game about protecting the last living root beneath a darkening cavern.

Guide one of four forest guardians across a wide, camera-followed root cavern. Move around incoming enemies while your equipped weapons attack automatically, dash out of danger, gather bright XP crystals, and choose a new upgrade whenever you level up. Temporary power-up drops can change the rhythm of a run, while each enemy wave grows more dangerous.

- Four cosmetic guardians to unlock and equip: Root Keeper, Ember Warden, Dew Sage, and Mooncap Scout.
- Five distinct weapons: Orbit Lantern, Root Cleaver, Thorn Needle, Spore Pod, and Dew Prism.
- Level-up choice cards that let you shape a different build each run.
- Temporary power-up drops, active dash movement, enemy waves, and run rewards.
- Six persistent Armory upgrades for health, pickup reach, movement, starting weapon strength, cooldowns, and contact defense.
- Useful run supplies: Amber Bark, Deep Dew, Moth Lure, and Quiet Spore.
- Local player profile, gameplay statistics, settings, and transaction history.
- English and Vietnamese interface languages.
- Optional Google Play consumable coin packs and Android in-app update checks.

Selected pixel-art assets are used under the documented CC0 license. The Glowroot Bastion setting, names, systems, interface, and written presentation were created for this project.
