Cliccailneo APP
----
ATTENTION: This service is available exclusively to residents of the province of Vicenza.
Click the Mole is a tool that allows you to send images of suspicious moles to the site's dermatologists for an initial assessment of their characteristics. While this tool does not replace a visit to a specialist dermatologist, it is still possible to obtain advice regarding the nature of the moles we see on our skin.
What is it?
Click the Mole is essentially a constantly open communication channel, available to anyone who notices a "strange" mole, a mole that changes shape, size, and color over time, or a mole they've never seen before and wants an initial assessment (which has no diagnostic value) but which may indicate whether or not a dermatologist is needed.
How do I do it?
It's very simple. Simply take a photo of the mole using your phone and send it through the app, answering a few questions to help assess the lesion. You'll receive a response from the doctors as soon as possible. Upon first use, you'll also be registered with the service so you can later access your records through the app, which is currently under development.
What characteristics should the images have?
For a correct assessment, images must have a resolution >1MP and be taken from a distance of approximately 7 to 15 cm, in macro mode for devices that allow it. The photographed area must be well lit, preferably with natural light, avoiding the use of flash.
