Cairn - British History Quest APP
You get four confirms. The story moves on whatever you guess — a wrong pin costs you points, never the rest of the tale — so there is no way to get stuck and no way to be locked out of the history.
HOW A QUEST GOES
A scene, a year and a question. Somewhere in Britain, that is where it happened. Put a marker down and confirm it, and the next part of the story opens: a checkpoint, not a hint you had to pay for. Three of them, and then your last confirm is your answer.
Score is what is left of the clock and the guesses. Get it on the first confirm and the game says so.
WHAT YOU GET
• One new quest every day, free
• The whole archive of past quests, playable any time
• A streak, a score and a record of every place you have found
• Share your result without spoiling the answer for anybody else
NO ACCOUNT NEEDED
You can play the whole game without registering. An account only exists so your streak and your history follow you to another device.
Cairn is a game about British history. Every place in it is real, and every quest links out to where you can read more about it.
It's deliberately well under the limit. Play truncates to about three lines before "read more", so the first two sentences do the work; padding it out would only add text nobody reads.
