Blockfort: Adult Block & Focus

Blockfort helps you use your phone on purpose, instead of letting it use you. App blocker, website blocker, focus timer and real self control against phone addiction and doom scrolling, all in one app.

How it works:

BLOCK Choose apps, terms and whole websites to block. When you open them, a calm lock screen shows you why, with your own reminder.

NFC LOCK (what makes it special) Stick an NFC tag on your desk, car or nightstand: tap once to lock the chosen apps, tap again to unlock. Each tag has its own mode. Works with any writable NFC tag, no expensive extra device needed.

STOP THE DOOM SCROLL Block only the addictive parts and keep the rest: YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels and WhatsApp Channels can be turned off individually, while chats and feed stay usable.

FOCUS SESSIONS Start a focus session (deep work, study, detox) or a Pomodoro timer with automatic work and break phases. Distracting apps are blocked during the session.

SCHEDULES & DAILY LIMITS Set recurring block times (e.g. weekdays 9 to 17) or limit apps by time and number of opens per day.

TAKE A BREATH Instead of a hard block you can choose a calm breathing pause per context: pause, then decide on purpose.

REAL SELF BINDING Make it hard for your impulsive self to undo the block: pick an unlock method (instant, 24 hour delay, or approval by a trusted person). Optional uninstall protection adds friction to deleting the app.

SAME ON ALL YOUR DEVICES Sign in and your block list, schedules, NFC tags and unlock method apply across all your devices. So you can't simply outsmart yourself on a second phone.

PERSONAL Choose from several themes and accent colors, including AMOLED for dark displays.

PRIVATE Blockfort reads the screen only locally on the device to block. No content is stored, transmitted or shared. No ads, no tracking.

PERMISSIONS (why Blockfort needs them)
Accessibility service: Blockfort uses the Android Accessibility service to detect which app or website is currently open, so it can block it and show the lock screen. This is the app's core blocking feature. The screen is read only locally on your device to decide what to block. No screen content is stored, transmitted or shared.
VPN service (optional Hard mode): The optional Hard mode sets up a local, on-device VPN to enforce SafeSearch and block adult or distracting websites through DNS filtering. Your web traffic is not routed to any external server and is not stored or shared; the VPN runs only on your device.
