Bestell.bar: Produkt-Alarme

Can't buy a product because it's sold out everywhere? The Bestell.bar app comes to your rescue: We monitor product availability in near real-time and notify you immediately as soon as your desired product is back in stock. A map shows you at a glance which local stores still have your desired product in stock. You can set up a store alert and be notified as soon as a new shipment arrives at a retailer near you. With the Bestell.bar app, you're always one step ahead of other potential buyers – whether online or offline.

Current example product we're monitoring: Midea PortaSplit. Demand for air conditioners is currently significantly exceeding supply. The Midea PortaSplit, which was still available for €799 in mid-June, is particularly affected. Since the recent heatwave at the end of June, these units have been changing hands on eBay for over €2,000. Online retailers and DIY stores across the board are reporting sold out. The PortaSplit is in high demand because, unlike conventional portable air conditioners, it achieves almost the same cooling capacity as permanently installed split systems. Unlike monoblock units, it operates more efficiently and cools rooms down faster. But anyone wanting to buy one now has to pay exorbitant prices – or use the Bestell.bar app.

Subscribe to notifications for the products you're interested in! This ensures you never miss a release and maximizes your chances of buying the product if demand exceeds supply. The idea for Bestell.bar originated in 2020 when we observed the massive demand for the PlayStation 5. Many gamers had to pay hundreds of euros above the MSRP to resellers to buy the console. Our notifications enabled countless interested parties to snag a PS5 at a fair price directly from retailers. The Foraum app fostered a gigantic community that collectively hunted for consoles. A lot has happened since then: We joined Heise to gain momentum for our ideas. This also allowed us to develop Bestell.bar for you. Our instinct for "the hunt" from back then remains. With Bestell.bar, we track releases of sought-after graphics cards, collector's editions, trading cards, and much more – basically anything that's temporarily in short supply, or generally releases you simply don't want to miss.
