1. The Harod app collects location information to use the following functions while the app is in the background:
- Route saving
- Warnings for entering/exiting control zones
- Vessel approach warnings
2. Access to all files is required to use the backup/restore functions for the following features:
- Route saving
- Save points of interest
3. Bluetooth access permission is required when linking a Saber device:
- Saber linking
4. Access to photos, videos, and the camera is required to register photos when saving points of interest:
- Save points of interest
5. Access to contacts is required to transmit your location:
- Send location
6. Music and audio permissions are required for voice guidance and notification sound playback:

* App services for versions 2.9 and below have been terminated as of February 1, 2023. Please check the announcements on our website (https://www.nmpnt.go.kr) for details. SeaRoad is a marine information application that anyone can easily install and use on smartphones running Android 8.0 or higher. You can view your location on reference electronic charts, save Points of Interest (POIs) and travel routes, and record your desired locations using the replay function. Additionally, it provides useful features for maritime activities, such as transmitting your location and requesting emergency rescue in critical situations.
* Continuous use of GPS in the background may significantly reduce battery life.
Key Features
1. Map View (Electronic Charts/Naver Maps)
- Provides reference charts based on electronic charts.
- Naver Maps is provided for inland areas.
2. Save Points of Interest/Routes
- Provides features to save your own points of interest and routes.
- You can save navigation hazards, fishing spots, and more for later viewing.
- Your travel route is saved in real-time, even in background mode, and can be replayed.
- Records information about your points of interest along with photos. 3. Finding a Destination
- Find a destination by entering the name and latitude/longitude.
- Tap the screen to locate a specific location.
- Load saved points of interest.
- Load saved travel routes.
4. Connecting to Control Centers
- Provides contact addresses for nearby control centers and a direct call function.
- Displays the locations of maritime traffic control centers by region.
5. Sending My Location
- Send your location using a phone number (contact).
6. Marine Weather Information
- Provides real-time weather information necessary for maritime activities by linking with APIs from relevant agencies.
7. Destination Search
- Provides name search and coordinate search functions.
8. SOS Function
- Provides a location information transmission function by selecting the Korea Coast Guard (122) or the National Fire Agency (119).
- Provides a voice call connection after sending a message.
- Provides a retransmission function if the location deviates by a specified distance from the initially requested coordinates.
9. Settings
- Basic Settings (Screen Off, Coordinate/Speed/Distance Units, Guideline Color, Reception Settings)
- Notification Settings (Various Event Notifications)
