百鬼温泉 - 妖怪と建て直す和風放置経営ゲーム GAME

No gacha. No paid currency.
"Hyakki Onsen" is a Japanese-style idle game (incremental management simulation) where you rebuild a dilapidated inn with yokai (Japanese spirits/monsters). Even while you're away, hot spring gems accumulate, the inn grows, and your yokai encyclopedia fills up. It's a relaxing idle management game with no login bonuses or stamina system.

--Near the mountains, there's a single, abandoned inn.
-- There's no manpower. There are plenty of non-human beings, though.
-- Kappa polish the baths, monster cats lay out the futons, and lantern ghosts beckon guests from the night road.
-- As the innkeeper, you should stand firm at the front desk.
-- Hot spring gems (the game's points) accumulate even if you do nothing.
-- The yokai work while you sleep and while you're working.
-- They've been working for a thousand years. You don't need to feel guilty about taking a rest.
-- Employees: Forty yokai. Bathhouse attendant, maid, chef, gatekeeper, zashiki-warashi. Forty yokai, each with different roles and personalities, are compiled in the "Yokai Records," complete with their individual character portraits and descriptions.

Akaname licks the grime from the bathwater to polish it. He doesn't consider it cleaning; it's just a late-night snack.

Amanojaku invites customers by saying, "Don't come here!" A genius at reverse advertising.

■ Instead of gacha, it's matchmaking.

New yokai are welcomed at the "Matchmaking Shrine." The candidates change weekly. Choose one you like, and by offering yokai energy (which accumulates as you play), that yokai is guaranteed to become your ally.

Instead of the fun of drawing, we've replaced it with the fun of choosing.

■ Hospitality lasts fifteen seconds.

Occasionally, you'll have customers with a bit of a quirk.

"The dark road is unsettling. Could you come and meet me at the entrance?" -- Now, who will you send out?

This game requires your reflexes to choose the right yokai to match the customer's wishes in fifteen seconds.

Even if you get it wrong, your inn won't go bankrupt.

■ Yu-Tama (hot spring balls) accumulate. Enjoy the extreme inflation.

Yu-Tama will exceed hundreds of millions, then trillions, and eventually reach eons.

The developers verified the growth curve for 90 days using an economic simulator. Based on that,

they gave up on balancing.

Even if you accumulate them, inflation makes them not very useful. But for some reason, it's still a joy.

If the units become too large, "rebuild." With permanent enhancements using spiritual power,

the next inn will grow faster and bigger.
